INSPIRATION
I was delighted when this gorgeous mug came out of my kiln. I was trialling a new green glaze with a fleck which I am very pleased with as it has a feel of our natural environment around the British Isles. I have layered over this glaze my old favourite pink and blue glazes combining to make purples. It is reminiscent of walks around the UK especially where we find heathers. I am taken back to family holidays in the Lake district. The pinks and reds at the base and textured heart detail enhance the colour theme.
The mugs I drink from are as important as my coffee. This mug will convey warmth and love to your special somebody, and you can be assured that they will be thinking of you each coffee break.
