Full description
This long tailed tit has been needle felted. A core of woollen fibres has been sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle and then a coloured top coat in appropriate colours has then been added. The long tailed tit has wired legs and feet and a wooden beak. He is mounted on a small wooden slice to aid stability.The bird is life sized measuring approximately 14cm (5.5") long x 7cm (2.75") tall.
