Featuring a solid Ash base which was sourced from the Thetford forest area, incorporating a simple bevelled edge. The upright and arm is crafted from Oak and feature a traditional cross halving wood joint. All the woodwork is made using traditional hand tools and joints. Planed and sanded to a silky smooth finish and finished with Tung oil to protect and enhance the woods natural beauty.

The electrics featured on this lamp are of the highest quality. Featuring:
Brass E27 lamp holder,
Gold and Dark Grey hounds tooth fabric cable (appears more light yellow/gold and blue)
Inline switch
Vintage LED Edison light bulb (included)
This lamp is for decorative use only and shouldn’t be used as a main light source.

I pride myself on attention to detail and all care has been made while making and assembling my lamps. I have attended a course by the Lighting industry Association (LIA) in ‘Lighting legislation, compliance control and production testing’ as well as a PAT course. All my lamps and production tested before advertising to ensure they are safe and compliant to CE standards.

I love the attention to detail required when making hand cut wood joints and this hands-on approach to my work provides me with a lot of fulfilment which I hope is apparent in the quality of the finish.

I have always been drawn to vintage style filament lighting and the warm atmosphere it creates. My one issue with traditional filament lighting is that it is not very environmentally friendly and has high running costs. I have also struggled to fully embrace newer LED lighting as I feel the character and warmth that filament bulbs create is lost. Thankfully after several years of experimenting I have found the perfect solution and all my lamps are provided with a Vintage style LED bulb which has all the benefits of a low energy LED lighting, coupled with the magic of a traditional filament bulb.
