I haven't made these wire hearts for a few years so thought it probably time I made some.
This would make a lovely anniversary, wedding, Valentine’s present or just a present for someone special.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again.
The heart has been made with twisted tinned copper wire, soldered and then a patina applied to give a blackened effect. Petrol blue muffle glass has been set inside the two wire hearts and a large turquoise nugget at the bottom. A large cut glass chandelier tear drop has been hung from the centre of the heart with 4 small hexagonal chandelier drops wired around the sides. A length of fishing line and hook have been attached for hanging purposes.
This sun catcher measures 19 cms x 24 cms.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up on the window as soon as you receive it. Please remember to wet the plunger before you pushing firmly onto the window.
