Why is this bag called The Eric Tote? Well a member of the craft collective I belong too swapped the cushion covers (his cats didn’t like them ), and 4 meters of curtain fabric for a couple of tote bags for his wife and daughter. As Eric is a passionate recycler it had to be the denim jeans I had in my stash and his fabric for the lining for one of the bags and there was enough Owls for me to create a bag for my Folksy shop.

Full description
This pretty tote bag is created from the legs of two pairs of jeans. The wear and creasing is due to wear and not because an iron is required! The owl embellishments on both sides of the bag started life on cushion covers.
The curtain floral designed fabric is in shades of turquoise, orange, black, mauve and cream and a fleece interfacing gives softness and structure. A magnetic clasp gives this bag security.
The owl decoration is machine sewn onto the bag and is made from wool, fabric and felt materials.
The tote measures approx 30cm wide 30cm long.
The denim handles in a deeper blue are 71cm long and 3cm wide and four wooden novelty buttons in the shape of owls are sewn onto the ends.
