Welcome to my shop Wiktorski Ceramics. Here you will find a variety of hand made products including pottery and cards. Each piece is made purely by hand and each glaze I apply is weighed and mixed by my own fair hands, similar to baking a cake. I was taught the traditional way and each glaze has taken many years to perfect. This makes it totally unique to Wiktorski Ceramics. Each piece is a one off and will not be seen again. Wire art, Bird on a driftwood wire, hand made sculpture.
Bird on a Driftwood Wire.
This cute piece is made as a one off design. The sweet white bird is made from Air Dry clay which is then painted with a black and gold acrylic paint which seals the piece. He is then attached to a natural piece of driftwood and strung with copper coloured aluminium wire. The driftwood is painted with a white chalk paint then sanded down to create a shabby chic effect. The bird is sat on a little bit of natural moss so he looks like he’s sat on his nest.
Air dry clay does not require to be kiln fired, therefore it is not waterproof.
It is designed to be hung around your home on a wall or hung over a window.
I have designed the wire art so that it can be hung directly from the wire.
Approx size- 14 x 18cm this includes the Driftwood and the wire to hang it with.
please note this may have sharp edges due to the nature of the wire. Do not let children play with it.
