This bowl was designed to be easy to use and look great for serving berries.
Just wash your berries in the bowl and then place the bowl on the matching plate and serve.
Any water left on the berries drains out onto the plate leaving the berries claen and ready to eat and not sitting in any water.

Full description

A small berry bowl, or colander, that has holes pierced into it a sweet little design that enables the user to rinse the berries and then place the bowl straight onto the matching plate and pop on the table to serve.

Pretty and practical.

I threw both the bowl and plate on the potters wheel using a buff coloured stoneware clay. They were then left to dry to a leather hard stage before carefully piercing the holes in the bowl and trimming the bases of both the bowl and plate. Once completely dry I fired them up to 1000C. I then glazed the pair in a white rustic glaze and then added the blue detail before firing them again to 1220C.

The bowl measures 13 cm across and is 6cm tall.

The plate is 11.5cm across and 2cm tall.
