All orders are sent via 1st Class Royal Mail standard service. The postage costs applied reflect the protective packaging used to ensure your Utterly Pottery goodies arrive in tip top condition. Therefore, should you place an order rest assured, it will arrive beautifully wrapped and protected topped off with colourful tissue paper. Where possible I reuse and recycle plastic bubble wrap as I find it offers the best protection for my handmade and handpainted ceramics.

Following on from my original Rainbow coaster created during the first coronavirus lockdown in March 2020, this rainbow star hanger was born in Lockdown 3.0 in January 2021
throughout these challenging times I have found painting rainbows incredibly therapeutic. The rainbow has become a real symbol of hope and togetherness in an unprecedented time. I wanted to design something positive to be kept as a reminder of the coronavirus era but that could also be gifted to family and friends. Who doesn't love a bit of happy post, especially at the moment.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A new star ‘addition' to my range of hand painted ceramic rainbow decorations this hanger can be gifted all year round for that extra special pick me up. Hang it in the window or even from a cupboard knob.
Each rainbow is hand painted on to a white earthenware star shaped hanger using underglaze paints. Black doodles and splatters are also hand painted making each hanger completely unique. Once painted the hangers are dipped in a glossy transparent glaze and kiln-fired. Once fired each hanger is individually strung together with a coordinated satin ribbon and bead and is ready to hang.
The ceramic star is approximately 7.5cm in diameter. With ribbon the hanger is approx. 12-15cm tall.
