Full description
A quirky but sturdy bag that I really enjoyed upcycling from a felted woollen jumper! Its a sizeable bag, perfect for all sorts of bits and pieces. Made from the sleeves of the jumper - they were just calling out to be made in to a fish! Original jumper pattern of a pinky-purple Fair-Isle type pattern has been used in the fish design.
Zip closure to keep everything safely inside, fully lined with a cute star print cotton, and an an additional inner pocket to keep things tidy. It has a long chain strap (cushioned at the top with matching felt - its actually the ribbing trim from the jumper!) and embroidered "scales" in glittery gold thread. It has vintage button eyes, with a little rhinestone on them to give them a sparkle. Decorated on both sides. A little bit bonkers but one of a kind - you won't find anyone else with the same bag!
Hand wash, drip dry. Iron on steam setting (avoid the eyes and loops holding on the chain strap).
