Full description
This is a handmade, woodturned corkscrew made from Venetian Olive wood - a beautiful golden wood with a stunning grain pattern. The shape of the corkscrew allows easy holding and this would be a beautiful addition to any kitchen. It is a substantial size, measuring over 12cm across.
Handmade in Surrey in December 2020. Finsihed with Tung oil (made from pressed nuts from the Tung tree) and then a beeswax polish - both are foodsafe.
Care instructions: do not submerge, do not put in dishwasher. Wipe with damp cloth. As needed, use a furniture wax to restore shine.
Note - due to the grain of the wood, each piece may have minor imperfections. However, this makes each one unique!
