Full description
Wrap your new baby in love with this beautiful hand knitted baby shawl featuring a heart design. Knitted in pure white it's suitable as a receiving blanket for your newborn boy or girl, or as a christening shawl.
The baby shawl is knitted by hand over many, many hours. It is worked in a lightweight yarn which gives it a beautiful drape. I have used a lacy design which features heart motifs. The hearts are in groups of three with the centre heart sitting slightly higher than the ones either side. There are 5 sets of hearts across the shawl and 12 sets of hearts down the length. The shawl has been finished with a hand knitted border which has a slight fullness to it giving a ruffle effect. If cared for, this baby shawl will last years becoming a family heirloom to be passed from generation to generation.

Machine washable on 40° Cool tumble dry.
