Full description
This is a custom item. It is a chess piece - a rook or castle, Turned from african hardwood (Tanga Tanga) with stainless steel bottle opener hardware embedded in the base so that it stands upright.
This is a beautiful item suitable for any chess lover or anyone who wants to add an interesting piece to their kitchen.
The finish is tung oil followed by a beeswax polish, both food safe.
Care instructions: do not submerge, do not dishwash. Wipe clean only. If needed, wax with furniture wax or beeswax polish.
