Most of the things I make get given names after people I know mostly because I find it helps me keep track of the different variations of wraps and bags that I offer.
"Marjorie" is a medium to large sized project bag ideal for mid sized projects like shawls and small jumpers. It will comfortably hold 6 x 100g skeins of yarn.
Old and worn fabric that has so much memory and is all full of story often gets put away, forgotten about, these bags make use of such fabrics so they get remembered and cherished, and are to be used and not kept for best or fancy.
Please note that while the fabric has been carefully washed, the fabric used is salvaged and re-purposed and may have some marks and wear on the fabric often found on vintage linens.
Listing is for one bag only, and does not include either the yarns or needles.

Made from carefully sourced vintage furnishing with a pretty floral print, this medium to large sized project bag is ideal for storing your knitting or crochet.
Fully lined inside with a sturdy cotton, linen blend canvas, that adds not only structure to the bag but also provides an extra layer of protection to prevent your needles or hooks from poking through the fabric. Pockets are sewn either side for storing accessories
The top of the project bag draws up tightly with a double round of wide herringbone tape which has been hand sewn over on the ends to prevent fraying, and then tied securely in a knot.
The bag is sewn with a bucket bottom gusset so it will stand up and can be used as a yarn bowl while you are knitting. A handy carry strap can be slipped over your arm so the bag is easy to move around with you.

If the bag should become grubby over time, it can be gently hand washed in luke warm water and allow to dry naturally.
