A beautiful fossil plate full of polished half ammonites, layered side by side, over layered and set in resin to showcase these stunning Ammonites in their full splendour.
A perfect gift for anyone who might like stunning ammonites, as an ornament for the home or office. Ideal for a fossil enthusiast, or just someone who likes pretty things.
The front and back of the resin and fossil plate has been carefully smoothed and polished, the front encrusted with Ammonites showing brown, golden yellow and russet tones, polished, so that it is flat and wonderfully tactile and allow you to see the inner beauty of the ammonite with its internal chambers and has druzy caves in many of the Ammonite sections. There are gentle divets and less polished areas from the polishing process within the natural recesses within the fossils.
The stand is not included.
Although this is shaped like a plate or coaster, it is NOT suitable for such use, it is purely ornamental.
Measure approximately 120mms in diameter, with a depth of approx 5mms, measurements taken at the widest points.
As these are natural fossil specimens, they are robust but not unbreakable
