An unusual, asymmetric driftwood and glass bead suncatcher mobile.
The mobile is made from a single, waxed piece of driftwood 26 cms wide and is crafted from salvaged dusky pink glass beads and 3 bronze coloured bells. The strings measure 28 cm from driftwood to bottom and the piece is finished with a knotted jute string hanger.
This item should be protected from extreme weather as the bells will take on a rusty patina if hung outside in the rain and the glass beads may chip if weather very windy. A perfect indoor decoration, hanging in a window to catch the sunlight, or to bring colour and sparkle to a covered porch or patio.

I have always been a bit of a hoarder and came to realise that it was time to put my collection of pretty, salvaged beads to good use, during walks along Cornish beaches,collecting driftwood, I realised that my beads and the driftwood could come together to create beautiful pieces of craft. I have really enjoyed making these pieces and seeing my ideas come to life in these driftwood mobiles.
