Inspired by the Yorkshire country side and childhood memories of the wild mountains and oceans of the West Coast of Scotland, I make stoneware pots for people seeking space and calm. Pots to be held, used and enjoyed. Pots that are tactile and well proportioned, designed to fit perfectly in your hands.

Everything here is made by me in my studio in Yorkshire under the watchful eye of our 7 year old dog Lola.

If you've got any questions please get in touch.

Best wishes

Lorna x

Embracing a slower way of sustainable living is what my work is all about.
From my potter’s studio in West Yorkshire, I take time to craft and glaze pieces of pottery using as few resources as I can.
I love the wild nature of the sea and mountains and want you to be able to bring them into your home, whether you’ve returned from a hectic day at work or just love to be surrounded by natural, handmade materials.
My work is your invitation to slow down, reflect and be kind to the people and beautiful planet we’ve been given

-PRE ORDER-

Inspired by a desire for sustainable living, this hand thrown Horizon cup represents a slower way of life.

This ceramic cup is made from natural materials using as few resources as possible. With a mix of glazes it has a simple, undulating design that reflects the patterns of the ocean. It forms part of my new Solstice collection of handmade pottery.

From countryside retreat to urban apartment, the pot makes a perfect gift for those who want to be surrounded by items that are useful and beautiful.

Aprox dimensions: 7cm H x 10.5cm diameter

Fired at 1260 degrees C.

Made from white stoneware clay.

This cup is available to pre order - I will be making these throughout November ready to be dispatched in early December.

Please let me know if you'd like me to wrap your order with a personal note as I'm happy to send directly to your recipient.

Please note - This service is completely free and is more timely and eco friendly as it avoids the gift being posted twice.

Hand thrown in my garden studio in Yorkshire.

Each piece is made by hand so slight variations in glaze and size may appear.
