Proseprints is keen to be green, our printed greeting cards are on recycled paper, with bio-degradable cellos, we use paper based packaging and are introducing non-plastic packaging for protecting artwork. We also support a local conservation charity, donating money from the sales of our cards and artwork.
A poem about a fox in her fox gloves and then realising how many of our favourite garden flowers and plants include the names of animals and insects. The overall designs were inspired by book covers of vintage paperbacks and 1930/40's travel posters and we added the botanical names.
We have linked up with a local environmental charity - Torrington Commons Conservators and will donate £2 from the sale of the two tea towels. Commons Conservators, most of whom are volunteers, care and maintain 365 acres of land surrounding the town of Great Torrington. Providing enjoyment and relaxation to local people and visitors with free walking access to glorious country and riverside and a wonderful protected environment for wildlife and flora. Full description
The Foxglove and Harebell tea towels are made from a 100% cotton and are generous in size, 49cm x 75cm, each has a hanging tag. Made in the UK and machine washable at 30 degrees.
The images are part of the Proseprints, Flora and Fauna collection of original Lino prints and printed cards and celebrates the common names of well loved flowers that include an animal or an insect. The tea towels show a brightly coloured and playful image of a fox amongst a host of foxglove flowers and a brown hare running through a meadow of harebells. They are a perfect gift for nature lovers and cooks alike.
