This is a linoprint with a kick! Bright and zingy red through to green, these chillies are lined up in order of heat, scotch bonnet through to jalapeno. Something heart-warming for the chilli lover, or to add a bit of pop to your own home.

I grow chillies every year, I've never grown scotch bonnet but I love Thai cooking so the skinny red super hot bird's eye chilli is a regular in my greenhouse.

Each of these linoprints is unique, the same range and depth of colour but slight variation as you would expect with a hand-made print. The print measures 7x5" and comes with a textured, off-white mount that will fit a standard 9x7" frame. The print will be cellophane wrapped with a backing board to protect it.

Although I'm primarily a painter, I also really enjoy printmaking, for me it feels like a natural progression from the india ink outlines that usually feature in my watercolour paintings. I love ink! I also love making pictures of food.

Printing this particular linocut is a challenge because it requires four different colours applied at the same time with a roller - there is a slightly textured feel to the print which I love.
