Item details

This is a small fabric basket 15cm high by 15cm wide with a depth of about 11cm (front to back). The front of the basket is a red cotton canvas with an appliqued beige cotton patch with a screen printed robin with a hand embroidered red breast. The basket has a cotton webbed strap (2cm wide) at the back to hang from a bed or furniture knob or the basket sits perfectly flat on its shaped base. The inside of the basket is lined with a medium weight cotton to match the front patch with a pine tree branch screen printed in green. The back of the basket is a green cotton canvas fabric.

Perfect to keep yourself or as a gift basket which you could also fill with presents for a loved one. Would ideally hold light items such as craft pieces or toiletries. It is a nice robust little basket though, sewn in two pieces front and back with two layers of interfacing the material and a layer of wadding. It holds its shape well.

I screen print my packaging with different designs each time, to make your purchase extra special when it arrives to you. Taken from one of my screen prints. I love walking in Cumbria and photographing and drawing the wildlife to turn into screen designs when I return home. I grew up with a love of Nature passed down by my wonderful Dad. I still love watching and taking it all in. x
