G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

Mistletoe - which is a partly parasitic plant is found in the mythology and folklore, in many cultures including Norse Mythology, the Ancient Greeks and Anglo-Saxons!

This lovely fabric button ornament features Mistletoe, a plant entwined into the folklore of the Pagans and Druids!
Created from high quality quilting cotton from the fabulous Liberty of London fabrics, it features an all over print of mistletoe and holly leaves and berries as well as other foliage, on a dark green background.
For this ornament, I have selected a section of light green mistletoe with white berries, with a few red berries on the surrounding edges and added some toy filling to create a domed effect to the front of the button.
On the reverse, I've hand painted a wooden plywood disc (FSC approved) in a rich green metallic artists quality paint filled with mica, followed by a layer of varnish and secured into the back of the button, along with attaching a length of sage green ribbon.
I have left the ribbon open ended, so you will be able to attach the ornament at any length you prefer! The ribbon length is approximately 16cm, the button shape is just under 5cm (4.8cm to be precise!)
This ornament is perfect to decorate your home for the festive season, either on the mantelpiece on an ornament stand, on a window (preferably not in full sun though), on an internal door knob, cupboard or on your tree!
The mistletoe ornament will come to you in an eco cotton drawstring bag in a kraft card pillow box made from recycled card - perfect for gifting to a nature lover (or to keep as a gift for yourself and the Christmas tree or course!)
