This dark collage of old pictures and narrative, with the Eiffel Tower prominent, really made me think of Paris on a grey day, a long time ago, and gives the hook an unusual and aged look.
Hooks are so useful (and, it seems, so necessary in all rooms of my home) and I love to have unusual and attractive designs on something so functional, which also give you a picture on the wall at the same time.

Full description
This is a wooden wall hook with a single wooden post/knob for hanging a small or lightweight item.
The grey board of the hook was painted white and then decorated with a paper napkin image of a dark-coloured collage of (1900s?) Paris, with Exposition advertising narrative and Fleur De Lys and, of course, the Eiffel Tower, before then being varnished for protection. I purposefully did not multi-sand and varnish the image but left it to look aged and to be as tactile as possible.
The hook measures 14.5 x 24cms and there are both triangle fixings and a slot on the top back for hanging.
This is an unusual hook which would suit many different areas of the home.
