Inspired by seasonal squash at my local fruit and vegetable shop in Glasgow, each of these watercolour paintings is a celebration of their naturally vibrant colours, satisfying curves and bold shapes.

Full description

"Squashed!"

After scanning in my watercolour paintings, my artwork was printed onto a 100% Organic Panama Cotton at the Centre for Advanced Textiles at the Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow.

The Cotton was grown and woven in India, it is unbleached and flecked with the husks and seeds of the cotton plant. After printing it was then sewn by me at my home studio in Govanhill in Glasgow.

The finished tea towel measures 43x63cm and has a hanging loop made of grey Herringbone twill acrylic ribbon.

The Tea towels are tied in dark blue jute twine with a swing tag printed on recycled card with the product story on one side and a picture of the full design on the other side.

Wash at 30 degrees.
