I love making these rings because although the design is similar they all have their own characteristics...each one has different texture, markings and shapes formed through hammering the copper giving them their own individual uniqueness

Full description
This unique ring was made from repurposed copper plate cut to shape, filed smooth and then hammered to add texture, The wavy edges were created by using a hammer and dapping tool which forms depressions and spreads the metal. It was then annealed to soften the metal and shaped on a mandrel.
A hammered copper washer has been soldered on one side with a small circle of mother of pearl shell cemented inside and three holes drilled through the metal on the other side to add another design element. Oxidised to give an antique finish and sealed with a silicon wax polish.
Size is approx. Y but can be adjusted to a larger size if required and the width of the band measures 15mm at it's widest point and 7mm at it's narrowest.
