Full description
Shut the Box - a traditional dice game for one or more players. The object of the game is to close all the numbered tiles - Shut the Box - according to different combinations of dice throws.
A game consists in a numbe of rounds, each player taking one turn within the round by repeatedly throwing dice until the player can not close any more tiles. The winner of the round being the player with the lowest score.
The game has added advantage of providing a fun way of improving numeracy and mental arithmetic in younger players.
The board is made from pine measuring 420mm x 320mm x 45mm high, with oak tiles and felt playing surface. The game comes complete with 4 dice and game rules, which describe the basic game but also a number of variations.
