This dish was created as a way to invoke a sense of warm tropical calm, perhaps memories of a holiday or a longed-for escape. It can be used as a soap dish or equally well as a trinket dish on your dressing table. The soft bumper will help prevent the dish sliding on a hard surface such as a sink, but they can be easily removed if you prefer. There are many possibilities for these little dishes, they are food safe – just remove the soft bumpers, and they would make beautiful little tapas dishes!

Full description
Shallow soap dish made using hand cut pieces of clear, Aquamarine, Orange, Red, Amber, Turquoise glass. The bending of the glass to create a sunken resting place for your soap or beauty bar causes the light to be diverted and shine through the glass at different angles which creates flashes of brightness and this movement of light and shadow brings the glass to life. Finished with soft bumpers to protect furniture and to prevent the dish sliding on hard surfaces (these can be removed if you prefer). The design is based upon abstracted impressions of the vibrancy of the tropics. This would make a lovely feature for your bathroom or dressing area. Please wash by hand in warm soapy water (not suitable for dishwasher as this gradually dulls the glossy surface and will dislodge the soft bumpers). Suitable for a variety of beauty bars – soap, shampoo, conditioners etc.
