Celic tales are inspiring. Full of strong goddesses. I can't wait to make more of these dolls.

Full description

Elen of the Ways is an antler headed goddess from British mythology.

Elen is often referred to as the founder and protector of the ancient migratory routes of reindeer and elk in Britain.

This is my impression of how she might have looked. Antlers in her hair with an owl perched on her hand.

Her dress top is green. The skirt is a wool fabric remnant hand sewn with gathers.

Her body is made from wool needle felted into a shape. Hand spun wool yarn for her wonderful antlers.

Elen is attached to a wood slice for stablility.

She measures 29 cm/ 11 ins tall from bottom of base to top of antlers.

All my dolls are different. Such fun to collect and display.

She is not a toy and is for decoration only. Not to be given to children due to internal wires and fragile nature of the wool.
