Hi, a warm welcome to the Dragon Art Glass shop on Folksy. I'm Andrea, a full time glass addict (oops, artist!) living and working in the valleys of South Wales. I've had a little shop here on Folksy since about 2016, but can also often be found at local craft markets and in my studio in Senghenydd.
I always aim to send out orders as quickly as possible, (often within a day), but please be aware that I post only via Royal Mail.
To make things easier for you, I can gladly gift wrap any presents, add a hand-written note and send them directly to the recipient at no extra charge – just leave me a note and details when you checkout.
If you have any questions, then feel free to reach out and get in touch. Thank you for looking (and if you should decide to purchase , a huge thank you!)
I often have a stall at the Museum of Welsh Life in St Fagans, where we are encouraged to provide workshops for children. This, I thought would be a great idea, where the children could make something on the day, under adult supervision and then a few days later receive their robin back in the post.
Of course, its suitable for adults too, for someone who would like to try their hand at a different craft without the huge outlay of a kiln.
I plan on making other kits available very soon.
Return postage is included in the cost of the kit, so for this reason I am currently only making them available in the UK.
If you are outside the UK - feel free to message me, and I can give you a cost including International postage if you would like.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
All you need to make your very own fused glass robin.
In this letterbox friendly, you have a glass bird shape; mosaic glass pieces; glue and a paintbrush. Simply glue the mosaic pieces onto the clear glass bird shape (All on one side is best, and easiest), let it dry overnight and then post it back to me in the prepaid box provided for me to pop in the kiln to fuse.
Once fused, I'll drill a small hole, add a ribbon and return your robin to you for you to hang in the tree, on a wall or in the window.
You have your own unique piece of fused glass - all made by your own fair hands!
Remember - robins appear, when loved ones are near!
DISCLAIMER:
Suitable for ages 5 and up UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION.
CONTAINS SMALL, SHARP GLASS PIECES SO SUITABLE CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN
