I’ve been working with glass for over 20 years. Ever since I first picked up my chosen glass and glass cutter, I’ve been hooked. I am fascinated by the properties of glass, the array or colours and the processes that that can be used to create different effects. There is always something new to learn and new tools and materials to invest in. It really is addictive!
What I especially love about working with glass are the colours. From crystal clear to shimmery dichroic to opaque pure blocks of colour that will never fade or dull.

Full description
Fused glass flower suncatcher, using delicate shades of glass in white, pale pink and plum. This would look perfect in a window, or anywhere you fancy. Inspired by my love of the retro design found on the ceramics, fabrics and wallpaper of the 1960s and 1970s. This would made a groovy gift for lovers of all things retro.
To make this, I cut 2 rectangles from transparent art glass and fused them overnight in my kiln. I have then hand cut and shaped pale pink, plum and white opaque art glass, making petal and circle shapes. I then arrange them on the pre-fired rectangle and fire the piece a second time to slowly tack fuse the flower into place. All glass is hand cut and assembled, therefore no 2 are exactly the same. One Supplied.
Comes ready to hang on a silver wire.
Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
12.5cm x 9cm.
Glass is very hard to photograph, so your item may look slightly different to how it does on screen. I try my best to capture the colours correctly.
