I’ve been working with glass for 18 years now. Ever since I first picked up my chosen glass and glass cutter, I’ve been hooked. I am fascinated by the properties of glass, the array or colours and the processes that that can be used to create different effects. There is always something new to learn and new tools and materials to invest in. It really is addictive!
What I especially love about working with glass are the colours. From crystal clear to shimmery dichroic to opaque pure blocks of colour that will never fade or dull.

Full description
Fused glass hanging Christmas tree decoration. Clear glass with turquoise bubbles captured inside.
The pot at the bottom is opaque green glass fused with dichroic glass, adding a bit of sparkle.
To make these trees, I cut 2 pieces of transparent art glass into Christmas tree shapes and use specialist paint to carefully paint my spiral tree design onto one of the pieces. I then cap it with another piece of glass and add an opaque pot with a piece of dichroic glass on top. I then fire it overnight in my kiln. The heat of the kiln turns the paint into tiny turquoise bubbles.
The glass is handcut and assembled, therefore no 2 are exactly the same. This looks lovely in a window, on the tree, or anywhere you fancy!
Christmas tree approx. 11.5cm by 8cm.
Comes ready to hang on a silver wire.
Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
