Ochre crossback apron with dark grey adjustable straps - denim remnants were used to produce a highly individual and unusual garment. Taking inspiration from Japanese Boro clothing and vintage French and American rustic aprons, my Boro Collection reduces waste whilst creating something useful and unusual that will last for years to come.
The apron combines the comfort of a crossback apron, with the snug fit of a tie apron or you can leave loose for an easy fit. Designed for the needs of artists and makers, the sturdy heavyweight denim offers good protection for work, studio, home and garden. The bib has a row of 3 pockets, for small tools, seed packets etc while the skirt section has one large side pocket. Constructed using denim remnants left from making my No4 aprons, balancing the shade differences from different dye lots.
Working at my little studio, in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches, ethically made and skillfully sewn with natural fabrics and minimal waste.
SIZE: UK8-18 (US6-14) (EU34-44). MEASUREMENTS: 99cm long bib top to hem, 70cm wide. SIZE UK8-18, (US4-14(Model UK8/10, 5'7"/170cm)
CARE: 100% cotton denim. Soft 'cotton feel' 100% acrylic woven herringbone tape. Machine washable 30-40 degrees, slow spin. Do not tumble dry.
POSTAGE: Royal Mail 'Special Delivery' / International 'Tracked & Signed'. Gift wrap and packaging (plastic-free): 100% recyclable paper & card, parcel tape also compostable
