This is the first time I’ve used fused glass; I just saw this bead and was desperate to work with it! This is a bright and fun necklace and can’t fail to delight.
The pendant has a very small white blemish, although the surface remains smooth. The price of the necklace has been reduced as a result.

Full description
The focus of this necklace is a beautiful fused glass pendant in rainbow colours. It hangs directly from a peyote stitch bail in quality Japanese black seed beads. I have then beadwoven a chenille stitch rope in rainbow colours to form a necklace with a gorgeous draping quality. It has been finished with rolled gold findings, including a secure lobster clasp.
The rainbow pendant in the centre of this necklace is made by skilfully placing different colours of glass together in a mould and fusing them in a digitally controlled kiln. It has a smooth front side, whilst the back is slightly rough. There is a very small white mark on the purple stripe of the pendant, with the price of the piece adjusted accordingly.
Total necklace length is approximately 47.5cm (c.18 3/4 inches), including clasp. The rainbow pendant is c.38mm wide by c.49mm long, excluding beaded bail.
Rolled gold, also known as gold filled, is made by mechanically bonding gold to a base metal such as brass or copper, which are cheaper but also more durable metals. Many people with sensitive skin often find rolled gold findings more comfortable than cheaper gold plated findings to wear, although please proceed with caution.
