I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
I had fun using the challenge of creating a circular piece with a little reed warbler at the centre. Very tiny fragments of fabric are littering my work desk and it seemed a good idea to use them in this way - to make a kind of mosaic - it was fiddly but immensely satisfying work. i bedded all the pieces down with some over-stitching on the machine. There's silk in there, bits of lace, cotton, paper and gold foil to catch the light.

A tiny stitched Reed Warbler clutching a reed. With a fabric collage mosaic background in the shape of a roundel. On white vintage cotton. Mounted with acid free off-white mount card.
