I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
I like the solemn, statuesque wisdom of the Barn Owl - its glowing paleness - though it's only on a few rare occasions that I've seen them myself. I created this background in a loose intuitive way but knew that I wanted an antique flavour with gentle patterning and muted colours suggesting foliage at dusk.

Full description
A raised machine embroidered design of a Barn Owl in repose on a branch. The dense quilted and raised stitch patterns of the Owl are in rayon threads giving a lovely 3d sheen against the contrasting background. The semi abstract background design combines scraps of patterned Victorian cottons and silks in soft muted colours creating an antique, almost arts and crafts patchwork flavour reminiscent of old tapestries and samplers. Mounted with acid free off-white mount card.
