Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I love making toys that I hope will become childhood favourites, with a simple shape that is easy for little hands to hold.
My toys are made with great care, to the highest standards. Each one, with hand embroidered features, is unique. They are designed to make good companions for young children, encouraging imaginative play, but always ready for a cuddle too, to bring comfort when needed.
My baby bunny toy is based on a pattern by CUTEure Creations.

This pale blue baby bunny rattle with hand embroidered features would make a delightful baby shower gift or present for a new baby. He stands approx. 14 cm tall to the tip of his ears and is 7cm wide across his tummy.
This 'ragdoll' style crochet toy is made in two pieces that are crocheted together, so that there is no chance of him losing his ears. As with all my toys,he has been designed to be safe for babies and young children to play with and meets the requirements of the Toy (Safety) Regulations 2011. He displays the new UKCA mark on his label.
He has been made with 100% cotton yarn which has a lovely soft texture and is filled with squishy 100% hi-loft polyester toy stuffing. His eyes, nose and mouth are hand embroidered with blue cotton embroidery thread. The rattle contains ball bearings sealed inside a plastic washable disc which is securely attached inside his body.
I recommend a gentle hand wash in warm water, dry flat and do not tumble dry.
My crochet animals are designed to be played with but please inspect for signs of damage before giving to a child.
He will be posted to you carefully wrapped in tissue paper, enclosed in a cardboard box.
Baby bunny rattles can be made in different colours and many of my toys can be made to order with an internal rattle, squeaker or crinkle material for a small additional charge. If you would like a crochet toy made especially for you, please get in touch.
