Making coasters required little ingenuity, the thought process was more about creating somthing different from just a pile of mats. My initial square jigsaw design allowed the coasters to be stored in a simple and decorative way and can also be used as a base for ornaments or plants.

Full description
A chunky set of four jigsaw coasters made from oak. The completed circle measures 150mm diameter x 25mm thick each coaster being approximately a quarter of the overall size. The coasters have been finished in multiple coates of drying oil giving a durable, deep satin finish.
