Making coasters required little ingenuity, the thought process was more about creating something different from just a pile of mats. My initial square jigsaw design allowed the coasters to be stored in a simple and decorative way and can also be used as a base for ornaments or plants. The design progressing to this ornamental butterfly which looks fantastic as a side ornament.

Full description
A chunky set of four jigsaw coasters made from a piece of walnut which is particularly hard and dense giving a beautiful finish. The overal dimensions of the butterfly being 150mm x 21mm thick. The Coasters have been finished with multiple coates of drying oil giving a durable, deep satin finish.
To maintain the finish clean with a lightly damp cloth & dry.
