Sea glass is a rare find on the beach at New Brighton where I live but I've managed to find a few pieces over the years and decided that a sea themed design would be the most suitable way to use them.
We do however get quite a lot of jelly fish washed up especially during the summer and that is where the inspiration for these earrings came from. The glass really glows when the light hits it.

These unique earrings remind me of deep sea creatures with their twisted tentacles and luminous colour.
Pieces of blue sea glass have been encased in shaped copper wire and wrapped with fine gauge copper thread. The copper I use is repurposed and these earrings were made using old electrical wiring - I love the fact that something so useful now has a new lease of life as beautiful jewellery.
They have an antique patina which is sealed with a silicon wax polish and sterling silver ear wires. They measure approx. 7 cm in length and 2 cm across.
Packaged on a gift card in an air tight plastic pocket with a complimentary polishing cloth in a pretty handmade paper bag. Free UK Postage
