The original sketch I made for these earrings was a flat design, but as I hammered it with a dapping tool to add the little circles it curved the metal. I decided I liked it better that way as it added an interesting dimension to the design.

Full description
If you like to wear jewellery that's unique, bold and makes a statement then these unusual earrings are perfect .
They are made from copper plate cut and filed to shape, then hammered with a dapping tool to add texture and curve. A textured copper washer has been soldered in place and circles of mother of pearl added to give them a lovely iridescence.
Oxidised to give an antique patina which is sealed with a silicon wax polish. They have sterling silver ear wires and measure approx. 5cm in length and 1cm in width.
Packaged on a gift card in an air tight plastic pocket complete with a complimentary polishing cloth in pretty handmade paper gift bag.
