Full description
A celebration of Autumn. This table decoration in an array of autumnal colours consists of 4 oak leaves and 7 acorns. The oak leaves have been formed from silk paper that has been handmade using recycled sari silk fibres, an imprint of the leaf veins is visible on the leaf surface. The acorns are needle felted and mounted in natural acorn cups. The leaves and acorns have then been wired together, using fine copper wire, and mounted in a simple wooden slice. The wire is malleable allowing the position of the oak leaves and acorns to be adjusted if desired. A soft layer of commercial felt has been added to the base to protect any furniture from scratches. The decoration measures approximately 22 cm x 20 cm with the wooden base being approximately 6 cm in diameter. A beautiful table decoration or photography prop.
