I love making interesting, one of a kind jewellery from my workshop in West Cornwall.
All my pieces are hand-crafted, using authentic metals and gemstones sourced from reputable UK suppliers and genuine sea glass finds from my hikes around the Cornish coast.
I especially like to leave the seaglass in its original unique state and shape, as nature designed it, tumbled in the Atlantic waves.

The Moon Gazing Hare is captivated by the moon. Established in folklore as heralding the arrival of Spring, fertility and shape shifting, the Hare is a spirit that runs with the moon.
In this piece I have combined my love of working with mixed metals, with a longstanding fascination with traditional folklore and their interaction with nature.
All my work is unique, I design what I feel and in this piece I have added a Garland of twisted Copper & Brass depicting the new branches and growth of Spring and the joy and energy it brings.
To make the chain was a lengthy process, forming and soldering each link but worth it. I am so pleased with the result. It compliments the pendant beautifully.
I have just started to sell online, due to the limitations of Covid, distance selling is safer at the present time.

Full description
A Magical, Mystical Hare, leaps across a Moonlit Sky. The Copper Hare has an etched patterned body which glistens in the moonlight. Framed by a Woven Garland of twisted Copper & Brass. The distant Sterling Silver Moon is textured and the whole piece has been given a antique vintage patina.
The Pendant is attached to its own unique Copper Chain, each link hand made and soldered for strength, smaller circular garlands of twisted Copper and Brass complete the custom made chain.
Polished and protected with Renaissance wax, every intricate part of this piece is handcrafted using tradition metal working tools.

Complete necklace length 290mm (11 1/2 ")
