Hello and welcome or better still welcome back to my little shop.
I hope you'll find that special thing here in the shop as I make everything by hand, welcoming the differences that these techniques bring.
So if its slick, shiny, bright colours you are looking for, that's really not happening here but warm, funny, happy creature lead pieces - you are in the right place. Step in and take a look around.

While I might go birdwatching and see crows, I’m never quite sure who is watching who. Clever birds who just seem to be holding some great secret from us. Managing to look even more handsome as the landscape becomes more desolate.
Here they are sat on top of these boxes guarding the contents. Each box has a very individual Crow atop it. I give each one a slightly different pose.
Not suitable for prolonged contact with food.
This is a softer glaze but with deep colours. The brown highlights are particularly lovely with a gentle shimmer. The blue is more of a contrast and highlight to the green/brown of the glaze. Strong secretive, I like to think Ted Hughes would have liked this one.

Full description
Each box has been constructed from slabs, then a crow modelled and carved on top. I don’t use templates so each one is different in its dimensions and really, who has seen identical birds? The carving used on the crows adds to the differences in the finish of the glazes. Glaze pools in the carved areas and I gently wipe the surface to add to the contrast.
All the boxes have feet, which was inspired by ceremonial boxes.
11cm high 7.5 cm wide and 5 cm deep.
Postage and packaging is included but sorry only available to UK at the moment.
