All of our designs start life in a little studio space looking out through trees towards the sea in West Cornwall. The process often ends up being collaborative, with two little ones with artistic streaks, full of ideas and opinions! ("Why haven't you done a paint splats mug yet?" "Can we change the shop name to 'Open Wave'?") And we can never get away from the ever changing inspiration outside our window, or the rich artistic heritage of the place where we live.
We hand make the majority of our products and when we need specific print or technical expertise (laser etching for our mugs, for example) we work with carefully selected makers and companies in Cornwall, the South West and other parts of the UK. Our fabrics are printed used eco-friendly reactive dyes and we use non-toxic, water-based inks when screen and lino-printing. Our packaging is made from natural, recycled and recyclable materials.

Made to order in 2-3 weeks (often less, please contact us if you need a shelf by a particular date).
Beautiful angled birch plywood shelves with elegant steel brackets (choose from clear powder coated steel, white or black). Made from furniture quality birch plywood and finished with Osmo oil for a lovely smooth finish, these shelves look great in any room.
Available in a range of widths – the measurements stated are the widest measurement at the back of the shelf (the shelf is angled to complement the supporting bracket and so is narrower at the front).
25cm shelf supplied with single bracket and fixings, all other sizes (50cm or longer) supplied with two brackets and fixings.
Custom sizes can be made – just drop us a message.
Shelf: 18mm birch plywood, finished with Osmo oil.
Shelf depth: 22cm (8.5").
Brackets: solid 6mm steel – clear coat, white (pictured) or black.
Bracket height: 20cm (8").
Made from furniture quality (BB/BB) birch plywood – occasionally the wood may feature the odd butterfly infill, which where possible, we will locate on the underside of the shelf.
Supplied with fixings to attach brackets to the shelf and the shelf brackets to the wall.
