The babushka design was inspired by a little Russian doll my late mother gave to me when I was pregnant with my eldest boy. I still have the doll, albeit a little worn, and it sits on my desk everyday. The boy babushka was taken from my babushka family print.
All designs are created in my little studio by the sea and handmade by me. All my cards and prints I design start life as a little sketch in my sketchbook, the designs are then cut in lino and printed by me so the patterns have a beautiful, simple block print style that is retained in the final card design.

his contemporary Boy Babushka doll design draws inspiration from the beautiful patterns of Scandinavia. The unique contemporary, fresh colour mix within a simple soft graphic pattern adds a bright, modern aesthetic to this design.
Words can be changed to Happy Anniversary, Good Luck, Miss You or Love You in the dropdown list at the time of ordering. You can also personalise this card for an additional cost.
A high quality inkjet print on 260gsm linen textured white card this A6 card also comes with a beautiful steel grey envelope. The cards and envelopes are bound by a paper band making the cards and their packaging totally recyclable.
