I have spent much time exploring and drawing on the isle of Portland. It is a rugged, yet beautiful place, shrouded in mystery, where the weather can change in an instant and there are treacherous currents which have led many seamen to their peril. Since the 18th Century, light houses have stood firm against the elements.

Full description
Limited edition print featuring the Old Portland Bill Lighthouse in Dorset, which is now a bird observatory. This two colour print was produced from sketches made at the site also features specially chosen period letterpress poster type from my collection and printed on my 1950s Vandercook proof press.
Paper: off-white 300 gsm Somerset Velvet cotton rag paper. 33 x 56cm. Due to the nature of the printing process, there is some variation in colour throughout the run.
The poster will be carefully rolled and mailed Royal Mail Standard 1st Class, in a tube. If you require Royal Mail Signed For, or a different level of delivery service, please contact me.
