Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.
I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.
As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

One of my favourite quotes from The Hobbit and as said by Thorin to Bilbo Baggins towards the end - If more people valued Food and Cheer and Song above hoarded gold, the world would be a merrier place.
I have added 23c gold leaf to each 8 x 10" print.
Print may be purchased unmounted, if preferred, and could be sent within a plainer double ivory mount if you're not sure you want the one as shown here with a red line. Tell me which double mount you'd like best when ordering your print.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

'If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world' JRR Tolkien quote from 'The Hobbit' print. Fine black lettering with red and dark yellow highlights and 23c gold leaf on 315gsm fine art paper in natural white (pale cream).
Print and mount measure 202 x 252mm (8 x 10") and may be sent unmounted or mounted within a double ivory mount, or in a double mount with an inner red line. Please state on your order which mount you would prefer..
If unmounted your Print will be sent within a card-backed envelope but mounted Prints will be sent in layers of cardboard within a padded envelope, by First Class Royal Mail to within the UK or by Royal Mail's International Tracked mail service to everywhere outside of the UK.
Items are currently taking longer than usual to arrive within the UK and to everywhere overseas so please bear this in mind when you order..
