I have spent many happy times on Portland Bill on the Dorset Coast. I regard the iconic lighthouses and obelisk as familiar old friends and I have made many drawings of these and the beautiful, wild landscape. It is also the location of the famous bird observatory.

Full description
Limited edition print featuring Portland Bill Lighthouse in Dorset as it welcomes migrant birds in Spring. This two colour Lino-cut was originally commissioned by The V&A. It was produced from sketches made at the site also features specially chosen period letterpress poster type from my collection and printed on my 1950s Vandercook proof press.
Paper: off-white 300 gsm Somerset Velvet. 30 x 42cm. Due to the nature of the printing process, there is some variation in colour throughout the run.
The poster will be carefully rolled and mailed Royal Mail Standard 1st Class, in a tube. If you require Royal Mail Signed For, or a different level of delivery service, please contact me.
