We were asked if we could make a Robin.

We love a challenge

Full description

We found this chap nesting in the kiln.

He is approximately 13 cm from beak to tail and 6.5 cm tall plus the stainless steel chain from which he hangs.

He is constructed from a piece of creamy white glass as the main body, over which we position a specially cut piece of streaky-brown glass. We then sprinkled on some red frit (powdered glass) to give him his iconic red breast. Add small pieces of black glass for his beak and eye, and pop him in the kiln for 12 hours. Once he's cooled down, we drilled a hole, added a jump ring and strung the chain.

He is weatherproof and will be happy hanging in your garden.

As we hand-cut all the glass used in our creations so you'll never get two the same.

All our Fused Glass Goodies are carefully designed and made in our studio in Shropshire.
