Textile Collage “For the love of bees”
A large textile collage using many different techniques. Linen and broderie anglaise alongside hand made paper and patterned fabric and lace give an abstract design. I have worked lace beehives and bees with tiny Suffolk puffs and bullion knot stitches. Complemented by woven wheel, french and Chinese knot stitches give a feeling of a busy hive. Hand made paper with satin stitch and teeny pieces of fabric appliqué help to give a honeycomb feel.
Dimensions: 20cm x 20cm.
Opening 14cm x 14cm.
Supplied in a white card mount.
Will be posted out in a card backed envelope for rigidity.
Postage is within three days of purchase.
Not suitable for babies or small children due to small parts.
