This made of around 40 individually cut pieces of glass which are carefully laid out in the kiln ready for firing. The kiln follows a controlled program of heating and cooling, reaching around 800C to fuse all the pieces together. Once cooled we glue on a silver coloured bail and thread a faux leather cord.
It has two shades of red and clear glass in the design and is approximately 15 cm tall.
He looks great hanging in the window where he can catch the light, and he's equally at home out in the garden.
All our Fused Glass Goodies are carefully hand-made at our studio in Shropshire.
