The shop range really needed a tie apron, for people who like a more snug fit. I came up with this design which has pleats and heritage style, but made in a tough fabric, incorporating the features contemporary artists, potters and makers need.
Working from my little studio, in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make workwear aprons in small batches using natural fabrics with minimal waste. I always choose fabrics that are washable and hardwearing, constructing aprons that will last many years longer than normal clothes, retaining their designed purpose and functionality.

Eye catching pleated canvas apron, attractive yet extremely functional for potters, artists and makers - sure to attract admiring glances in the studio! Lovely warm ochre colour cotton fabric is tough and washable. The pleated skirt and overlapping split gives generous coverage ensuring each leg is well covered when sitting at a potters wheel, work bench or easel. Beautifully sewn, thoughtfully designed and made-to-last, this apron is highly specialised craftsperson's workwear.
